Frequently Asked Questions

How do I go about testing my horse?
You will need to submit a mane/tail hair sample to us, normally 30-40 hairs complete with root follicles. To download the accompanying form, please click here. Or contact us to obtain a form and collection bag.

How much does it cost?
£16 for each test specified, please contact us if you have more than 3 tests to carry out on one horse.

How do I obtain my results?
We will contact you via telephone to explain the results and the implications of the results for your horse, or if you prefer you can be e-mailed. All tests are certified free of charge, hard-copy certificates are sent soon
after results are reported.

How long does testing take?
Results will be made available within 5-7 days of receipt of samples.

How do I pay for my testing?
Either supply a cheque or postal order when submitting the order form, alternately
you can fill out your credit/debit card details - or if you prefer, give them to us over
the phone.

Is the testing accurate?
Testing is extremely precise, and if there is any doubt over sample quality or results
appear unclear, we will request a second mane hair sample to ensure accuracy.
