Horse DNA Colour Testing
Founded in 1992, Animal Genetics offers a range of DNA-based testing services, for horse owners, enthusiasts, breeders and individuals seeking genetic background information about their horses coat colouring, or patterns. Our tests are carried out in the spirit of offspring coat colour prediction, and for breeding purposes. The procedure is accurate, inexpensive and reliable. Test results are made available within 5-7 days of sample submission.

Horse DNA Typing & Relationship Testing
Animal Genetics now offers DNA parentage & relationship testing, as well as DNA typing for registration purposes.

Testing is carried out using DNA extracted from the roots of mane hairs, a typical sample is 30-40 pulled hairs. Collection samples bags and order forms are sent out free of charge at your request. All colour/pattern tests charged at £17.50. This price now includes Grey testing.
